Athletics Director
Physical Education Teacher
Growing up playing and always being around sports, my career path has been influenced by many wonderful coaches and former teammates. I always liked working with young people, and the possibility of combining that interest with sports made going into education and athletics an easy choice. I enjoy the challenges that athletics presents to our students (“Iron Sharpens Iron”), and cherish the many life lessons that sports teach day in and day out. I also like hearing from our alumni and watching our students flourish after they leave Valley School. This is my 27
th year at Valley School, and my many friendships and memories of students, faculty, staff, parents, and administration will last a lifetime.
Outside Valley School, I love spending time with family and friends, especially when our activities involve the outdoors, music, food, and sports (ideally, some dogs are in the mix as well). In addition, raising twin boys with my wife, Deana, has been an amazing experience, and truly has filled my life with happiness. In my humble opinion, kids are absolutely the best part of this world. Cherish each day. Go, Owls!
