Cassandra Nolfi

Inspired by a great middle school math teacher, Cassie Nolfi knew she wanted to be a teacher since she was young. She attended Saint Vincent College and graduated with a B.S. in Mathematics and Secondary Education Certification. Cassie joined Valley School in 2014 and she went back to Saint Vincent for her M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction in 2018.  In her 9^th year at Valley School, Cassie continues to find fulfillment in developing students’ problem-solving skills and helping them to make meaning of math.

 

Along with teaching math, Cassie serves as the Math Department Chair, 8^th-grade Advisor, and a 7^th- and 8^th-grade soccer Coach. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her family and watching sports—especially the Pittsburgh Penguins.
