Taylor Allison

"I have lived in Ligonier my entire life. Some of my favorite things to do include going to the Country Market on Saturdays, taking my dog for walks through town, and relaxing with a good book! Outside of Ligonier, you might find me at a Penguins game, hiking, or traveling. I aspire to visit all 50 states and many more countries abroad!" 

Taylor Allison graduated from Saint Vincent College in May 2022 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. She minored in Disability Studies and Children Studies and is certified in Early Childhood Education PreK-4 and Special Education K-12. Professionally, Taylor traveled to the United Kingdom to study the education system abroad. She also completed her student teaching in first grade at Fort Allen Elementary School and 9-12 Autistic Support at Hempfield Area High School. She recently worked Extended School Year at Laurel Valley Elementary School. 

 

Taylor was new to Valley School in 2022 and is thrilled to be working in her hometown. Her favorite thing about Valley School is the sense of community and the large support system that is present in the school. Outside of school, Taylor enjoys traveling, reading, and doing yoga.
