Complete and return this form with an application fee of $25.00, made payable to Valley School of Ligonier.
Upon receipt of the application form, Valley School will mail you Teacher Recommendation forms. Please give these to your child's current teacher with a stamped envelope addressed to the Admissions Office, Valley School.
Submit transcript and test scrores (if applicable) from your child's present school.
After receiving an application, Valley School will call to schedule a visit. Candidates for Kindergarten complete a developmental screening test while parents tour the school.
Applicants for Grades 1-8 are invited to spend the day at Valley, visiting in a classroom at their current grade level. Achievement tests are given in reading and mathematics, and a writing sample is completed. Parents meet with either the Headmaster or the Assistant Headmaster, ask questions, and tour the facility.
Families will be notified of the Kindergarten admission decisions during the first two weeks of March. Decisions regarding acceptances in Grades 1-8 are usually made in April.
